Link to the direct review URL
Use the review link from your Google Business Profile, not the general Maps listing or a search-results page. Test the link in a private browser window before generating the code. It should identify the correct business and take a signed-in customer directly to the review flow.
Where a review QR code converts
Ask at the natural end of a good customer experience: beside the till, on a table after service, on a receipt, or inside delivered packaging. A code hidden on a general poster has less context and gives people less reason to scan.
- Till or counter: use a small upright card visible after payment.
- Restaurant table: keep review requests separate from the menu code.
- Receipt: place a short instruction beside the code, not on the fold.
- Packaging: use a flat area that will not crease or curve.
One code means reviews only
Do not send customers to a page of unrelated choices. The printed message promises a review action, so the scan should open that action directly. Use separate codes for menus, WiFi, bookings and social profiles.
Print spec for a small counter card
Start with a 3–4 cm square code including its quiet zone. Use black on white, export SVG for print, and choose matte stock or lamination. Test the finished card under counter lighting and from the customer’s side.
Check the QR print size chart, the full printing guide, or make a finished sign with the template builder.

Keep the request neutral. Do not offer rewards for positive reviews, discourage negative feedback, or imply that only satisfied customers should scan.

Paste the direct review URL into the generator above, download SVG for print, and scan the final proof before putting it in front of customers.
